Frequently asked questions

Yes, completely. The plaques are made from stoneware that’s been high-fired and are non-porous. This means that when the temperature drops below freezing point the plaques will not shatter because they do not retain water. For the same reason they will not face, crack, or peel whatever the weather.

We are confident our packaging will ensure your goods arrive safely. In the last 15 years we’ve had only one breakage – and that was because the package was left in a silly place and it got run over! However in the highly unlikely event of your plaque arriving damaged we will replace it free of charge

I am always happy to discuss your requirements and will be honest about whether they are do-able!

You plaque is completely hand made at our pottery studio, Bodgers Farm Pottery, near Downham Market and King’s Lynn in West Norfolk, UK

The plaques are made with two screw holes (unless a special requirement has been discussed and agreed) and are supplied complete with brass screws, screw cups, and rawlplugs. Care should be taken not to overtighten screws as no surface is ever completely flat and overtightening will result in a cracked plaque. Always use a hand screwdriver – not a power tool
